Meet Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly Reci — the creative mind, coffee drinker, and early morning sunshine lover behind a little network of blogs that are all about making life easier, more fun, and way more creative.

I’ve been blogging for over 14 years, and along the way I’ve built spaces that reflect the things I love most: family, food, creativity, and connection. I’m a proud mom (my adult autistic son lives at home with me), a wife (my husband Rodney has been through an incredible recovery journey), and a pet parent to dogs, cats, and, most recently, chickens and ducks. 🐾🐓🦆 Let’s just say my mornings usually start with coffee in one hand and a fur or feathered friend at my feet.

At the heart of everything I create is a simple goal: to help you make everyday life more joyful, creative, and stress-free.

When I’m not writing or designing, you’ll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, curled up with a good book, planning my next trip, or figuring out how to keep my chickens from acting like tiny, feathered troublemakers.
